How shocked would you be watching your friend pouring out her heart, to the City Council, only to have Ms Mayor, Tiffany O’Donnell, interrupt her and say, your time is up. HOWEVER, her time was NOT up! The red light was not on. There were 14 seconds left on the clock.
Tiffany O’Donnell, Mayor of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is NOT the Queen of our City. It’s becoming more obvious, every single day, she lacks leadership qualities as well.
She doesn’t say off with their heads , she takes her “mighty” pen and becomes the Destroyer of homes.
We as citizens can do better. Let’s elect a Council that has compassion. We are unable to replace them all in November, but, it’s a good start.
If we replace four members with compassionate people, we have a fighting chance to break the groupthink and make sure there are no longer any back room deals.
